LoxamHune adds the 2023 Latin GRAMMYs in Seville to its best-of with a historic roll-out
Over a hundred machines and gensets employed to guarantee that the first awards held outside of the United States were a smash hit.
LoxamHune demonstrated its unrivalled capacity to organise events requiring the large-scale deployment of technical and human resources in the build-up to, during and following the 2023 Latin GRAMMYs, which were held last night in Seville for the first time in their history.
Providing 120 pieces of equipment – including machinery, gensets and electrical equipment – the machinery rental leader has once again proved why it is synonymous with safety and efficiency thanks to a historic demonstration.
LoxamHune’s equipment played a starring role in the Andalusian capital, which hosted the 24th annual event, with the two stages – one at FIBES Conference and Exhibition Centre, where the red carpet was rolled out and the final gala celebrated; and another at Plaza España, the historic site where Santalucía Universal Music Week took place – with a wide range of equipment including 24 Stage V gensets, 32 boom and scissor lifts, forklifts, pallet trucks, one-person lifts and fuel tanks, among other equipment.
The company’s expert technicians and managers took care of everything that a show of this scale needs, from assembly to the moment the stars started appearing. But the work didn’t end there. Once the show began, our on-site technical team made sure that everything went without a hitch and even provided the TVE television team with power to broadcast the ceremony.
Held for the first time outside of the United States, the Latin GRAMMYs celebrate excellence in the world of Latin music. Performances by some of the world’s brightest stars, including Rosalía, Shakira, Alejandro Sanz and Pablo Alborán, made this a night to remember for all involved, and especially so for the nominees and winners. All of this was thanks to the experience and professionalism of the LoxamHune technical equipment and team, without whom it wouldn’t have been made possible.
The Latin GRAMMYs have been awarded by the Latin Recording Academy since 2000, and all other ceremonies have been held in American cities such as Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Houston and Las Vegas. Playing host to this year’s event places Seville firmly on the map.
Professionals and equipment for unique shows
LoxamHune has helped organise some of the best music festivals the world has to offer. In the past two years, as part of its engagement with the best music, it has worked hand in hand with the production team at each event, proving everything needed to put on a great show.
In recent years, the leader in machinery rental has played a key role in putting on concerts by bands like the Rolling Stones and Guns N’ Roses and festivals including JMJ in Lisbon and Madrid’s Mad Cool.
LoxamHune specialises in renting energy equipment and boasts a large team of experienced professionals that designs networks, calculates the power needed and takes care of all the logistics involved in putting on a large-scale event.
The company powers festivals of all shapes and sizes, filling the stages and all areas of the festival with light and colour, supplying gensets from leading brands ranging from 30 to 2,000 kVA with a frequency of 50 and 60 Hz, all at the best hire prices. In addition, the company has electric generators that feature the latest safety and control systems, which helps ensure the quality and continuity of the temporary electricity supply.
It also has the largest fleet in Spain of Stage V eco-friendly gensets, proof of its commitment to the environment and reaffirming its status as the country’s only climate-neutral machinery hire company thanks to calculating, reducing and offsetting its carbon footprint.
