Loxam joins European Rental Week and reminds us how important it is for equipment rental companies to invest in people
LOXAM, a leading French European company, and the 4th largest construction equipment rental company in the world, is pleased to announce its participation in European Rental Week, organised by the European Rental Association (ERA) from 9 to 13 October 2023. The theme of this first edition is “Investing in people”.
With over 12,000 employees working every day in more than 1,100 branches to provide our customers with the best possible service, the Group’s strength lies above all in its employees. They are at the heart of our business model and represent the first pillar of the company’s CSR commitments. Whether it’s a question of training and supporting talented staff, ensuring their safety or pursuing a proactive policy in favour of inclusion, LOXAM has always attached great importance to their well-being. Nearly 80% of staff received at least one training course by 2022, and more than 800 branches have had zero accidents. Last year, the company also received Great Place To Work® certification for 19 of its Business Units.
Finally, the Group works to promote employment among young people, in particular by being a partner of Worldskills France, the largest career fair for young French apprentices. At each event, LOXAM provides competitors with all the equipment they need for their tasks, so that they can excel in their field in complete safety and peace of mind. It’s a great way to promote the construction and civil engineering trades.
To mark European Rental Week, teams in every European country where the Group operates will be working to promote the attractiveness of the equipment rental sector through a range of publicity campaigns. Thanks to the diversity of the professions, profiles and career paths on offer (sales, technical, support functions, etc.), but also because of its strong roots in the different regions through the network of branches, the rental industry has an undeniable human dimension.
